NEW EVENTS - Now On General Sale

We love chatting to authors about their new books and are proud be be able to host events with some of the biggest names in world literature, whilst also offering a platform for some incredible local talent. So we are thrilled to announce FOUR new events, which we think you’ll be as excited about as we are.

Next month we’re reopening our virtual bookshop for a Zoom event with KRISTIN HANNAH. The worldwide bestselling author of The Four Winds and Firefly Lane (a Number One series on Netflix), will be joining us from her home near Seattle to talk about her gorgeous new book, The Women.

In March we’re hosting the launch event for Penarth-based author SOPHIE BUCHAILLARD'S second novel Assimiliation, a multi-generational historical drama full of mystery and secrets. Plus, ANN CLEEVES*, the number one bestselling author and creator of Vera and Shetland, will be joining us for tea and cake to celebrate the paperback release of The Raging Storm, the latest novel in her Two Rivers series.

And it may seem to be very early to be thinking about an event in May, but believe us when we say that these tickets will not be around for long… Bestselling author and current Laureate for Irish Fiction COLM TÓIBÍN is doing just a handful of events in the UK to mark the release of his exquisite new novel, Long Island, and one of those events will be with Griffin Books! Long Island is the sequel to the much-loved Brooklyn and sees the return of heroine Eilis Lacey, twenty years on in the 1970s.

*Our event with Ann Cleeves has sold out in record time. However, you can still add yourself to the waiting list to be informed of any additional tickets or returns.

Keep an eye on our website, social media and newsletter for further event announcements over the coming weeks, there’s still lots more to come!
